Who am I…? a born and bred South African female.
After a challenging and successful career in the corporate world, I decided to follow my dreams to become a passionate and committed entrepreneur who discovered the benefits of using my strengths to achieve my goals.

Early in my career and throughout my growth and development process I realized that Leadership is what I wanted to specialize in - hence the birth of Divine Appointments now Divine Executives.
My primary expertise lies in Executive Search – sourcing intellectual capital – and recruitment. I have a proven track record in placing people that add real value to organisations and who makes a huge difference. I specialise in understanding the strategic drivers of your business ensuring that your company has the RIGHT PEOPLE capable of delivering results. I have successfully developed methodologies to implement employment plans and conditions. Established mentorship programmes, recruitment strategies & policies, affirmative action policies, planning and the monitoring of staff development and remuneration packages as well as coaching of executives. I have done Executive Management search assignments in South Africa, Africa and Europe. Over the last four years I have placed 89 top executives in strategic positions, many of whom have grown and developed within their organisations and today adding tremendous value to organisations. I have done work for more than 7 clients across all industries in the private sector and local Government with a high level of repeat or referral business.
A stringent project process and methodologies have been developed to ensure success in finding scarce resources. One of many success stories was the search for a very scarce Siebel Technical Account Manager for a Multinational. Through an extensive network in South Africa and in Europe, excellent referrals were obtained. This resulted in the placement of a very scarce technical resource - a skill not yet found in South Africa. I have successfully managed and driven the entire immigration process. The paperwork and motivational letter to the relevant Embassy were done in record time and the relocation process was made simple and hassle free for the successful candidate. Most important part of the process was the mentorship and coaching of the headhunted candidate and his family.
As headhunter and recruiter I have made a difference; but I have decided to diversify and specialize further becoming an Executive Coach. Through Coaching I believe I can truly “evoke excellence in others”.
So many people had influenced my life but only a few left their mark and whether it was negative or positive I have chosen to turn it into positive influences. Because; life is about choices and I have chosen to be the spice of life, to add zest and flavor to everybody’s life that I get to deal with.
My advice to you: if you have a dream, live it! Following your dreams is not an easy journey. It takes you on an unknown path, strip you from your image and most of all rips you out of your comfort zone.
“Jump – it is never as far as you think” (Native American Proverb)
Your dream will drive you to the other side. To help elicit your dream, ask yourself the following questions:
- What do I really want?
- What makes me feel alive and how much of this do I already have in my life?
- What do you not dare to dream or want?
- What are you just tolerating in your life?
- What are you hiding from yourself?
- What are the real price/ loss of not living your dream?
It is very important that you size up the jump. To determine that, journal the pro’s and con’s of the jump – the real reasons why you want to jump. Put the necessary support in place and anticipate problems.
Remember that a dream/ jump without a plan remain a fantasy – on the other hand a plan without a dream just becomes another item on your to-do list. Therefore:
- Create a plan that include a vision, specific goals, timeline and feedback to yourself
- Keep your dream alive by day-dreaming, meditation or daily notes in your journal. This will generate the energy you need to take that leap…
- Identify the support you need – it could be a personal coach, your best friend, partner or spouse. Tell them exactly what you need, plan and work out a plan of action and negotiate what you need from them. It might mean a check-in conversation once a week, but it will ensure you stick to your plan.
- Focus your positive attention on your dream. Be aware of your negative thoughts. Do not tell yourself “I am not good enough”, “I can’t do this”, “It is not worth the effort” or “I am selfish for wanting to pursue my dream”.
Remember - You are unique and deserve the very best in life – live your dream.
